Random Image!
VegettoEX @ 10:05 pm EDT -- Hey there! Well, this is one of those updates that apologizes for the lack of updates... but at the same time, I have something to share! My best friend from high school & college is currently over in Japan teaching, and I received the following photograph from him yesterday. I really have no idea what it is, but...

Anyway, it's kinda that time of year when we're all neck-deep in AMV material. Hopefully you've been able to check out our video from Otakon, by now. Next month you'll have our AWA Pro video to check out (sorry, no DBZ in that one!). I'm also currently working on a parody of a certain DB commercial that I think primarily fans of this site will enjoy ^_~. In addition to that, I'm busting out all sorta of MPEG-2 and AC3 encodes for our AMV DVD Volume 2, which we'll be giving out at AWA this year.

So that's the current status of things! Julian's back at school, which means he'll have more free time to update :P. We're hoping to actually premier a new section in the very near future, but I think at this point we're waiting on me to research and write-up a few things for it... D'oh!... ^^;;

"I Walk Alone" Available For Download!

The video came in second in its category (to the jaw-dropping Nightmare, which I also ask that you check out), and received an amazing response at the convention (both before and after the video even played ^^;;). Go check it out over on the AMV page, and come talk about it if you have the time! We had an incredible amount of fun working on the video, and we thank you for simply taking the time to check it out. Ja~I

"I Walk Alone" Coming Soon!
VegettoEX @ 10:45 pm EDT -- Hey, everyone! We're all back from Otakon. An absolutely fantastic time was had, but we're glad to be back home. I can already see some of the search engine requests coming in (!), so I wanted to pop in and say that our music video from the contest (I Walk Alone) should be available for download in the next day or two! From what I understand, it came in 2nd in its category (1st place was the absolutely amazing Nightmare by Floyd Russell), so from the bottom of our hearts we thank everyone who enjoyed the video. Simply having it played in front of so many thousands of people at a convention is enough to bring a giant fanboy grin to my face.

Anyway, expect the video in the next day or two. We're going to be doing an XviD encode, so if you don't already have XviD (or at least DivX 5) installed, head on over and get the Koepi build.

And now to catch up on some non-drunken sleep.

Otakon This Weekend!
VegettoEX @ 10:27 pm EDT -- How has it been a week since the last update...? Geeze. Time flies by, these days.

So Otakon is this weekend. Anyone going? Indeed I shall be there. If you have the time, drop by the Anime Music Video contest (main screenings Friday @ 12 noon & 11 pm), and the AMV panel (Saturday @ 10 am). In the contest you will see a video entitled I Walk Alone, by both Meri and myself. It's not exactly a DBZ video... but it's certainly got DBZ in it ^_~. We'll try to have it up for download as soon as possible after the convention, but until then, here's some teaser-shots from some of the DBZ elements to the video. Maybe I'll see you this weekend! Feel free to say "Hello!" if you get the chance :D.

"Sparking!" New Characters Revealed
VegettoEX @ 9:52 pm EDT -- The official "Sparking!" website was recently updated with character profiles for (Future) Trunks and (SSJ4) Gogeta! Be sure to check out the sexiness that is the Japanese site for the game :D.

In American video game news, DragonBall GT: Transformation (for the GameBoy Advance) was released this week. I picked it up today, but I haven't played it yet, so I can't say anything else about it :P.

'CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" 2005

Anyway, following up on the previous release, the 2005 version of "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" came out exactly one week ago in Japan. Amazingly, this one came much quicker... I got it on Monday! So here's the cover art and tracklisting, with a review coming soon.
