Various songs from the DragonBall universe have had CD singles released. Most (pre-Budokai) singles are not your typical CDs; they're the tiny, 3 inch CDs that fit into that small groove that you see in your tray-loading CD drives. In addition to being cute, the CD singles usually have karaoke versions of their songs on them, and tend to have either another song from the anime, or another song from that same performer or group. Of special interest are the DragonBall GT opening and ending theme singles, which are just fantastic. [ enter ]

There are twenty DragonBall Z Hit Song Collection" discs in the series. Opening and ending TV themes, movie closing themes, TV episode insert songs, and image songs galore are contained herein. Of special note are the 8 ½ & 18 ½ volumes, which contain remixes of popular songs from all throughout the series and movies. [ enter ]

Music from the various DragonBall movies have been released on CD, both in single CDs containing music from multiple movies, and later movies that have their very own soundtracks. Some of the movie BGM that was later used in the show appears only on these discs! [ enter ]

People say "rare" very loosely these days, but this is the real "rare" deal. Live performances of J-Pop bands doing DB songs, English versions on other CDs, etc. While these CDs aren't released as a part of the DragonBall franchise, they're definitely on the wish-list of many a fan! [ enter ]

From the early days of Saban onward, we've seen the domestic release of DragonBall CDs. Here, you'll find all sorts of dub music, from Peter Berring's score to the 1995 DragonBall dub, to Shuki Levy's work on the first two DBZ dub seasons, to the latest (and...greatest?) by Bruce Faulconer.
