Where is the future of the DBZ web community headed??

Those of you who are reading this most likely have no freakin clue who in the world, or what in the world I am. I'm Silvanos, I'm a former webmaster over at Gotenks Archives. I'm what you'd call a "New School Webmaster", I came to the web in 1999, way after Wuken and the other greats were gone. I was first introduced to Greg Werner's DBZ Info Page, VegettoEX's Home Page and Planet Namek. These were my main sources for dbz info. I had never heard of Wuken's site or any of the old sites. These great sites closed, for various reasons, but it all resulted in the same thing, the loss of something great for the DBZ fans. Now a days, almost 2 years after I hit the web, I see the same thing happening that happened to old sites. The question is, what's going to happen. JKwok44 updates every five or six months, Greg Werner updates every couple of months, even during the summer now. During the summer of 1999 he updated everyday, now it's every month. I was shocked even to notice that the updates over at Planet Namek are coming every couple of days, but they are still heading strong. In my opinion the only three sites out there that are heavily visited and updated frequently are Planet Namek, Daizenshuu EX, and the Temple of Trunks. Everyone else is slowing down so to speak, for many reasons. One is age, many of the webmasters are either in college or are about to head into college and are therefore not updating anymore. I look at the list of sites that have closed in the past year or so for reasons; Dragon Ball Z Season 3, Dr. Gero's Lab, Dragon Ball Network, Planet Vegeta, Sam's DBZ Otaku Page, Wiznut's Dragonball Tribute, the list goes on and on. I missed out on great sites like Wuken's. I'm new school but I know old school people, I talk with alot of the dbz webmasters that have been around. I hear Greg Werner talkin about Wuken's site and Sam Spencer and tons of others, and to quote Meri Cantoni who I am talking to right now, "Wuken's was the best site ever f!@#ing made!", and I have no idea what they mean. I can't see the site, I can't visit it, see his info, see his multimedia, or see anything but an image on planet namek. The question is, is this what people will be saying about sites in a year or two? Will Maverick over at Gotenks Archives or me over at Kami Sama's Lookout or NiDaimaio over at North Galaxy be saying to an upcoming webmaster "Man, Greg Werner's page was one of the best ever!" or "Planet Namek had the coolest stuff to download", and these people can't see what we're talking about? They'll wonder who these people were, what was their site like. Will they say "Who in the hell is Mr.E?" or "Meri Cantoni? Now that has to be a fake name". Will the people who remember all this, the new schoolers be wondering "What are these people up to now a days"? All of this is my way of saying, don't close your sites, hang in there as long as you can, and if you have to leave, leave your site up, let the new world dbz community see who you were or what you did, don't be left as just as commentary by other webmaters like the old schoolers are now; someone who people say "Man, his site was the best" and the listeners can't see what we exprienced.
