Translator’s Notes: For those who played either the European or Japanese version of the videogame Budokai 2, there was a shock almost from the moment they turned their PS2: a brand-new vocal theme! The game’s staff reunited lyricist Yuriko Mori, composer Kenji Yamamoto, and vocalist Hironobu Kageyama (who sang both opening themes to DBZ, and nearly all the endings) for the first time since the PS1 game Final Bout, to produce something most DBZ fans thought they would never hear again. Needless to say, it's quite something, and has a good beat, too. Unfortunately, American fans were deprived once again, as the American version shipped with an instrumental version of the song instead of the Full Vocal one. This transcription / translation has now been updated with a romanization of the song lyrics as they appear in the DBZ 2 & 3 CD single. The biggest change is actually in the phrases that were already in English (guess I don’t have that good an ear for Engrish, heh), but there are several minor modifications at various points in the song.
