This year is shaping up to be another great year for DBZ music fans, and even more-so if you're into the various video games that have come out. To celebrate the release of the upcoming CD single featuring the Sparking! METEOR and Burst Limit theme songs performed by Hironobu Kageyama (not to mention his upcoming appearance with JAM Project at Otakon!), we are giving away a great set of music!

On July 23rd, the CD single featuring the theme songs to Sparking! METEOR and Burst Limit ("Super Survivor" and "Kiseki no Honô yo Moeagare!!", respectively) will see its release in Japan. Also included on the disc will be karaoke and even English versions of the songs!

But this is Daizenshuu EX. We really love music, and we really love you. In addition to giving away this newest CD single, we're also tossing in the CD single from 2005 featuring the theme songs to Budokai 2 and Budokai 3 ("Kusuburu Heart ni Hi o Tsukero!!" and "Ore wa Tokoton Tomaranai!!", respectively).

What do you have to do? Send an e-mail to a special e-mail address. That's right, all you have to do is send one little e-mail to one little address.

Want an extra chance to win, though? Want to showcase your true skills as a fan? We want to hear you sing. Pick one of the four main songs featured on the CD singles we're giving away, and sing at least two lines from the song for us, and you're automatically given an extra entry to the contest. Two chances to win is better than one!

CONTEST RULES

( 00 ) — ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.

( 01 ) — Entries are to be e-mailed to:

( 02 ) — For an extra chance to win, sing at least two lines from one of the following four songs:

  • DBZ/Budokai 2 OP: "Kusuburu Heart ni Hi o Tsukero!!"
  • DBZ/Budokai 3 OP: "Ore wa Tokoton Tomaranai!!"
  • Sparking! METEOR OP: "Super Survivor"
  • Burst Limit OP: "Kiseki no Honô yo Moeagare!!"

( 03 ) — If you choose to send a vocal recording, no background music should be present. The only audio should be your own voice.

( 04 ) — If you choose to send a vocal recording, said recordings should only be sent in MP3 format.

( 05 ) — Lyrics to the two Budokai songs can be found on this page of our website. Lyrics to the Sparking! METEOR song can be found on this thread of our forum. We're still working on those Burst Limit song lyrics.

( 06 ) The prize is a single copy each of the two CD singles noted at the beginning of this web page. Prizes are available to entrants of any country. One individual will be awarded these two CDs.

( 07 ) Entries must be received no later than 11:59 am (Eastern), Friday, August 1st, 2008.

So what happens after the entries are received? A random integer is generated. This number is counted down from the top/first entry received. If an individual submits an entry with a vocal recording, they are granted two sequential integers.
