DragonBall Movie # 3

"Makafushigi Dai-Bôken"
("Mystical Great Adventure")

"Mystical Adventure"

Basic Synopsis

Another retelling of the Dragon Ball story. This time, young Goku and young Kuririn are training for a Budôkai to be held in the country of Mifan. The Emperor of Mifan, Chiao-tzu, is trying to find his lost "Ran Ran." "Minister" Tsuru-Sen'nin has Pilaf work on a Dragon Rader takes it from him, and is using it to locate the Dragon Balls. Minister Tsuru-Sen'nin and T'ao Pai-pai claim that they'll use the wish from Shenlong to locate Ran Ran, but are actually planning, with Tenshinhan's help, to kill Chiao-tzu and take over the country. Blue announces that Ran Ran is being held in Tsuru-Sen'nin's room, and is killed by T'ao Pai-pai for it. Bora and Upa have located the final Dragon Ball and they take it to Mifan to use it to demand that Mifan's soldiers be forced to leave the land near Karin Tower.

Bora is tricked into entering the Budôkai (the winner of the Budôkai will be granted one wish by Chiao-tzu), and is then killed by T'ao Pai-pai. Bulma, Oolong, and Lunch are looking for the other six balls, so Bulma can wish for a boyfriend. However, when the balls are located, they're accidently dropped to the bottom of the moat surrounding Chiao-tzu's castle. Tenshinhan realizes that he likes Chiao-tzu too much, and doesn't kill his friend; instead, he blows away Tsuru-Sen'nin. The story of Blue and Goku entering Penguin village is included, but this time it is T'ao Pai-pai and Goku that meet Arale-chan, and Goku kills T'ao Pai-pai with Arale's help.

Goku throws the final ball into the moat, and asks Shenlong to resurrect Bora.
